PERFORATING FUNDAMENTALS
Discipline: Completion, Production
Level: Basic/Intermediate
Duration: 3 days
Instructor: Jairo Balcacer
Purpose
This course will present the concepts related to categories of perforating guns and methods, shaped charges. A revision of API testing procedures, methods of predicting and maximizing perforation effectiveness, equipment and operating procedures for wireline and tubing-conveyed techniques, and general operating procedures to carry out well operations having the HSE component as the major driver, job planning and quality control.
Designed
This course is addressed to well intervention, completion and production engineers as well as rig supervisors who deal with interventions on a daily basis.
You will learn
- API testing procedures
- Perforating safety
